Assistant Producer
Key responsibilities included pitching ideas, writing scripts and outlines for films, compiling research for videos, producing social assets using editing skills, filming and assisting on shoots.
Examples:
This role involved editing, research commissioning and producing a short animated doc about empathy in lockdown which I also presented. I also assisted the team looking for topics / filmmakers to commission, preparing videos for online release and research for films.

Digital Producer at brands like BBC Three, British GQ and Somethin’ Else
This role involved reacting to news and popular culture to create viral posts, producing content, managing budgets for paid spend and managing social campaigns for factual titles like Driven: The Billy Monger Story and Fake Homeless as well as attending and pitching ideas in the editorial and factual development team meetings.
I also produced reactive content inspired by the news and worked on The Guardian’s award winning Instagram series Fake or For Real and developed long term content ideas to create conversations online.
